Lion Supports and Mentoring
NDIS support and mentoring · Sutherland Shire

Positive support. Genuine connection. Stronger futures.

Personalised support and mentoring for boys and men living with disability, helping build confidence, independence and real connection in the community.

Our approach

Someone in their corner

Everyone we work with is different. Support is shaped around their interests, their goals and the things that matter to them and their family.

It starts with a genuine relationship. From there we get out into the community together, building skills, trying new things and growing the confidence to do more on their own.

  • Positive role models
  • Meaningful mentoring relationships
  • Community participation and social connection
  • Life skills and independence development
  • Confidence building and resilience
  • Support tailored to personal goals

Positive male influence. Real community connection.

Trusted support and mentoring that builds the everyday skills, connections and confidence to live life on your own terms.

Meet Will

Small, personal and led by Will

Hi, I'm Will. I've worked in disability support for five years, and I started Lion to keep doing what I love most: being a positive influence in someone's life and helping them see their own potential and grow.

I'm calm, patient and reliable, and I put a big focus on building real relationships. For me, good support means encouraging independence and helping people feel confident and supported every day.

Outside of work I'm into sport, cooking, chess and gaming, which often turn out to be great ways to connect.

With Lion you won't be passed around a big agency. You'll know who's turning up, and you'll have someone who follows through and genuinely cares how things are going.

Getting started

What happens when you reach out

Every participant starts with a clear agreement and a plan that's checked regularly, so you always know what support looks like.

  1. Enquiry

Participants, families, support coordinators and plan managers can call or email to make an enquiry.

  2. Client information

We meet and get to know each other: interests, goals, needs and what good support looks like.

  3. Service agreement and plan

We put a written service agreement and support plan in place before support begins.

  4. Support begins

Regular sessions start, with the plan reviewed every three months.
